The highest paid tennis player in 2014, Roger Federer took home a total of $56.2 million, most of which ($52 million) was in the form of endorsements. Born in Switzerland in 1981, Federer is currently ranked number two in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals. He’s been in the top ten since 2002. He has played at the Olympics several times, and took gold in 2008 in Beijing for his doubles performance with Stanislas Wawrinka, and he was awarded a silver medal for his singles performance at the 2012 Olympics in London.
