Currently the leading vehicle brand, Toyota currently boasts a brand value of $37.8 billion. Founded in Japan by Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937, it is headquartered in a city of its own name, Toyota. While the vehicle brand is what keeps Toyota in the most popular brands list, it isn’t only cars and trucks that Toyota manufacture and sell. It has more recently moved into the prefabricated housing and information technology (IT) markets as well. Who knows where this will lead.
