Gucci was mentioned on the list Top 100 brands of the world. In 2009, Gucci was on the 41th place. It is the biggest-selling italian brand. They have boutiques and department stores worldwide. The brand was valued over 12,1 billion dollars. Their creative director is Alessandro Michele. In 2010 Gucci started a children line. Now rich children can wear Gucci clothes also. The most interesting fact (in my opinion) is that Gucci made an agreement with American Motors Corporation. You can buy luxury cars with Gucci trims.

Burberry Group plc is a British luxury fashion house. They’re distributing sunglasses, clothes, fashion accessories, fragrances. Burberry was became famous for its trench coat, which was designed by Thomas Burberry. The whole brand was established in 1856. Now, they have stores, and franchises around the world, in almost every country. Burberry was also listend on the list, Top 100 most valuable brands of the world. The CEO is Christopher Bailey. They have a foundation (named Burberry Foundation). It is a philanthropic organisation, with a goal to helpő young people realise their dreams, through creativity. They are operating 3 sub-brands: Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, Burberry Brit. Burberry has more than 500 stores around the world. They’ve had a little controversy about the CEO’s salary. It was over 1,1 million pounds in a month.
