Richard Nixon was the 37th president of the United States. He served from 1969 to 1974. Nixon was born in California. He studied at Duke University School of Law. Before he became a president, he served as a U.S. representative and senator. Nixon suffered a severe stroke in 1994. He was taken to hospital immediately. Nixon was unable to speak, or to move his right leg and arm. The stroke caused damage to his brain, and he slipped to coma. He died in 1994. The funeral costed approximately 311.000 dollars to the federal government. The Air Force One carried Nixon’s remains. He has the 10th most expensive funeral on our list.
