Most Expensive Things Ever Stolen
Photo: 10 Stolen Pieces Of Art That Have Never Been Found

The jewel-encrusted Faberge eggs created by Peter Carl Faberge for the Russian royal family in the years between 1885 and 1917 are absolutely incredible both in beauty and value. There were at least 52 Imperial eggs in the exquisite collection all of which were stolen during the Bolshevik revolution in 1918. Some were shipped to the Kremlin, while others were sold to private art collections. Some are currently in museums, but there are eight that are still missing. Valued at more than $1 million each, they find a place on our list of the most expensive things that have ever been stolen.
