#11 Davidoff-Morini Stradivarius

Any Stradivarius violin is going to be worth a fortune of some kind, but the 1727 Stradivarius that was stolen from famous violinist Erica Monrini was a very special one, and as such one of the most expensive things ever stolen . Valued at $3 to $3.5 million, the violin that has never been recovered still features on the FBI’s top ten art crimes. It was taken from the musician’s New York apartment when she was 91 years old; sadly she died soon after the incident.
